Patchy Islands are Betweenlands biomes characterized by lush, low-lying islands surrounded by Swamp Water, with flat shores of Silt, several Weedwood, Hearthgrove, and Sap Trees, and Giant Bulb-Capped Mushrooms dotted about.

- Middle Gem Ores, rarely on the sea floor
- Betweenstone Pebble, on land or underwater
- Blue Eyed Grass

- Cardinal Flower
- Cattail
- Tall Cattail
- Milkweed
- Moss, in scattered patches
- Shoots
- Swamp Reed, on land next to or sticking out from the water
- Swamp Tallgrass
- Algae, in patches on the water
- Bog Bean, sticking out from the water
- Golden Club, sticking out from the water
- Marsh Marigold, sticking out from the water
- Mire Coral, rarely underwater
- Swamp Water, as seas between islands
- Menhir, rarely
