Water Filtering[]

Slimy Bones can be obtained from filtering Stagnant Water with a Mesh Strainer in the Water Filter.

Drops[]

Slimy Bones drop from breaking Slimy Bone Ore with any pickaxe. They also drop from breaking the bone variant of Nesting Blocks.

Additionally, Slimy Bones drop from Swamp Hags, and can drop from Large Sludge Worms, upon death.

Loot[]

Slimy Bones can be found as Loot from Pots of Chance in Underwater Ruins.

Slimy Bones can also be used in vanilla and other ore dictionary crafting recipes in place of Bones.

Notes[]

While Slimy Bones can be made into Bone Meal, note that Bone Meal cannot be used as fertilizer anywhere in The Betweenlands. However, it can still be used on Betweenlands plants and crops outside of the dimension, in place of Ground Dried Swamp Reed.
