Tangled Root

Tangled Roots are special consumable items that remove status effects. In this sense, they are the Betweenlands equivalent of vanilla Milk Buckets.

They are considered Plant Items, and can be ground into Ground Roots.

Tangled Roots drop from breaking Roots.

They also drop from Pyrads upon death.

Consuming[]

When consumed, Tangled Roots remove all status effects from the player, including both positive and negative effects. It does not remove background effects caused by drinking certain Drinkable Brews.

Tangled Roots can be composted in a Compost Bin. They have a compost process time of 6 minutes and 40 seconds and a compost amount of 5. Visit the Compost page for more information regarding the composting mechanic.
